“Carousel” a fairground barrel organ. Programmed for Kontakt 4.1 (64bit)
This library will give you full access to an original authentic Carousel barrel organ to compose your music with. Without hiring a music role producer, renting and evacuating a fun fair, cleaning the steam engines of excessive noise, pitching the organ and endlessly riding the Carousel. Just load up your Kontakt 4 in 64 bit, set your voice polyphony to 300 and off you go.
With this instrument we’ve gone the whole nine yards and tried to capture it’s unique original distinctive sound. And in post production we spend a lot of time editing pitch, acoustics and tune to come up with an instrument patch that captures your imagination, takes you straight into the funfair and is easy to handle inside your DAW.
The instrument patch goes with the proven effective Sonokinetic kontakt tab configuration. Covering all ten registers, the percussion set, an acoustic perfect impulse response unit and an ingenious sample mapping solution to map all registers including the percussion on a 76 master keyboard range. Deep scripting of this instrument patch makes it perform like the real thing. Register knobs and stops are added for single play or tutti with or without percussion.

Registers:

- Green zones: Percussion samples
- Blue zones: organ samples

-Activation knobs: By default the instrument is loaded with all registers open!
The tutti and percussion knobs are activated. Just as in a real organ when you want to access single registers. Please deactivate the tutti and select the single registers by pressing the registers knob. It will be activated by lighting up in blue. Note: not all registers will cover the full extent of the blue keyzone.
Impulse Response Unit
All NKI patches have reverb applied to them. The convolution reverb can be bypassed when the amount is turned down to 0%.
To keep the your custom setting please resave the patch. Next time when loaded it load the custom settings. (Consider renaming to have a backup when needed).
Impulse Response: by pressing the woody buttons above the IR picture another of the three available rooms is activated.

PLEASE NOTE:
Due to the large sizes of Sonokinetic's sample packages, Sonokinetic have split them up
in multiple files: _part1, _part2, _part3, etc. using the .rar extension. You should use the software provided above to unpack the files. Smaller packages (containing only 1 file), are zipped. For this you can use your OS (XP, OSX etc.) to extract the samples from the zip-file.
When extracting Sonokinetic sample packages only open the “.part1″ files with your extraction software. All other files will extract automatically!
NOTE TO MAC USERS:
If your .rar files download with an HTML extension on the end, please delete the .html extension so the .rar files will extract correctly.

Do I need a serial number, license or product key to activate Sonokinetic products?:
No, all products are instantly ready for use without any time consuming and administrational organizing troubles.
Should I register my product?:
No, there is no registration required by Sonokinetic.
Do I need the full version of Kontakt to use Sonokinetic products?:
Yes. All Sonokinetic products require the full version of Kontakt 2 or higher. Carousel requires Kontakt 4.1 (64 bit)
Do Sonokinetic products support other formats?:
Each product is created for its specific labeled formats. For this information please check the provided format descriptions on the product page. We in no way guarantee 100% compatibility when using any form of translation software. All sales are final and neither Alexander Publishing nor Sonokinetic shall not be held responsible for importing said samples into a non-native sampler.
