Description

Tigris And Euphrates by Sonokinetic Header

Capture the mysterious beauty and the impressive magic of the Iraqi Egyptian Arabian male voice..

Whether you need to create an authentic Middle Eastern composition, or just add some spice and originality to any production, Desert Voice provides the necessary elements to set your music apart. These intriguing melodies and phrase improvisations will give you a broad range of diversity in your composition

We’ve gone all the way and recorded most of the commonly used Middle Eastern melodic styles (maqams). It is available in all parallel western contemporary root keys. These can easily be triggered and displayed in the Kontakt user’s interface. For easy and quick scoring Desert Voice provides patches with Arabian styled melodies which are harmonically mirrored to western minor scales.

Performed by mr. Hammam Al Sayid who’s schooled in the classical Arabian art music. With full dedication to this project he put out the best musical performance we’ve experienced yet. From the deepest low to the highest intense emotion Hammam took us by surprise and open our ears and imagination to the mystic and fantastic world within the Arabian music.

  • Desert Voice by Sonokinetic Kontakt Interface Scale Indicator Tab

Scale Indicator Tab: linked to the style key zones. Presented with individual note intervals.

  • For a detailed reference to each makam, we strongly advise you to read our “Historical and musical origins” PDF documentation available in your downloads when you purchase Desert Voice.

  • Note: Middle Eastern music theory and character is very different from western music due to its many microtones used in these makams. But as a general reference we found that a lot of our minor and major keys go well with these samples. We specifically applied western tuning while recording these samples. For instance, the root key goes well with major as the 4th and 5th go well in minor. But all these harmonic references are interchangeable and can be combined to create thousands of original combinations. The full potential of this sample library is yet to be unleashed. For quick – no – nonsense recording and a perfect fit to your minor harmonics please refer to the ‘western minor improvisations’ patches.

    Additional Information:

    Responsibility disclosure
Responsibility disclosure :We have gone a long way to record “Ezan” samples (EZAN_nki), another very exclusive one of kind original Middle Eastern recording. The “Call for prayer” is like the church bell for the Christians. Very recognizable and beautifully and artistically performed. With that said, Sonokinetic is not responsible for any mistreatment of any of these samples of the Ezan samples in any context and we distance ourselves from these misinterpretations. The responsibility lays fully with the user. This disclosure only applies to the Ezan.nki patch!
