The Instant Composer is the equivalent of one semester of counterpoint focusing on two-part writing. Taught from a songwriter's perspective you'll about effective melody writing, starting techniques to harmonize your song, writing bass lines, and writing counterlines (background lines).

There is NOTHING ethereal about this course. It's ALL practical. Teach, learn, DO!

You're encouraged to have either a basic vocal sample library (in Garageband, Logic, Omnisphere, or others released from Cinesamples, EastWest or Tonehammer) or a basic solo strings library (LASS First Chairs, VSL, Logic instrument set, etc).

ALL of your work is to be recorded.
