Overview

"Summon The Heroes was written to celebrate the l00th anniversary of the Modern Olympic Games.

I've dedicated the piece to the great trumpeter Tim Morrison, with whom I've shared so many wonderful musical experiences. It was my privilege to conduct the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra in the first performance at the opening ceremonies of the 1996 Games in Atlanta, Georgia."
