Andrew BlaneyAndrew Blaney
Andrew Blaney is one of the UK’s most versatile writers who composes, mixes and programs libraries. Andy earned his Masters Degree in film scoring from Bournemouth University. He has since become a popular composer for the BBC for such productions as Dickens, George Eliot: A Scandalous Life, My Life in Film, Twisted Tales, and How We Built Britain (6 episodes).

Dr. William HooperDr. William Hooper
With his broad range of practical experience, award winning composer Bill Hooper is well qualified to create the Alexander Publishing Worship Leader Training Series. Bill has a practical background in arranging and composing (from Stan Kenton to Stravinsky), conducting, counseling, missionary work in Zambia, and being a senior pastor. His music has been published by Broadman Press, Concordia, Carl Fischer, and Word Music. In 1973 he won the Delius Composition Competition and in 1974 he won the New Times Composition Competition.

Massimo TofoneMassimo Tofone
Max is the author of The Street Smart Guide to Sibelius 5, The Street Smart Guide to Sibelius 6, and is the producer for Alexander Publishing’s Professional Orchestration™: A Practical Handbook Series. Max was the music editor for How Ravel Orchestrated: Mother Goose Suite. He’s a graduate of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama with a B.A. in Musical studies, composition and electro-acoustic music under composer John Maxwell Geddes and Alistair MacDonald. Max is an excellent pianist/composer and has produced demos for several well known sample libraries.

Peter AlexanderPeter Lawrence Alexander
Peter is Film Music Magazine’s award winning journalist. He’s a graduate of Richard Bland College of the College of William & Mary and Berklee College of Music in Boston. He's studied counterpoint with Dr. Hugo Norden at Boston University, and orchestration in Hollywood with Dr. Albert Harris, Arthur Morton (Jerry Goldsmith's orchestrator), Jack Smalley and Scott Smalley. He's author of the critically acclaimed How Ravel Orchestrated: Mother Goose Suite, the Professional Orchestration Series, The Instant Composer: Counterpoint by Fux, Applied Professional Harmony Series, The Street Smart Guide to Logic 8 and the critically acclaimed Writing & Performing Christian Music. He's also the author of The Road of Blood: The Story of The Good Samaritan. He’s also the popular web-host of DAW School which airs on www.soniccontrol.tv. Several of Peter’s books in music have been endorsed by winners of the Academy®, Grammy®, Emmy®, BAFTA®, G.A.N.G.®, Telly® and Ava Gold® Awards.
