Most items ship within two (2) to three (3) business days of ordering. Alexander Publishing is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Orders coming in on Saturday and Sunday are processed the next business day.

Shipping Information: U.S., U.S. Possessions and APO Box Numbers
All shipping goes through USPS to maintain the most economic shipping service. Shipping options available include both tracking and insurance. Priority (2-3-Day) and Express Shipping (1-2 Day) options means that the day your order ships, it will be shipped by whatever option you pick. Not all US Zip Codes have Express Mail. On average from coast to coast, we find that Priority Mail arrives within 2-3 calendar days from the day shipped. ONLY USPS delivers to a P.O. Box.
When ordering during holiday periods, please allow more time for delivery.
Once shipped, all shipping and delivery times are in the hands of USPS and Alexander University, Inc., is not responsible for USPS delivery delays.
Media Mail is a best value and usually arrives within 7-10 calendar days, comparable to UPS Ground Delivery times.
Shipping Information: International Orders
Since May 2007 the US Post Office discontinued all surface and parcel post shipping overseas. The only two services they now offer are Priority Mail International (which replaces the old Air Parcel Post service) and Express Mail International (which replaces the old Global Express service). Both include insurance and a tracking number. Because of increased fuel costs, all shipping goes through USPS as they offer the most economical solution for our customers. The only exception is orders to Europe valued at over $500.00 USD, which must ship via Federal Express as the US Post Office will no longer insure shipments valued at over $500 to most European countries. We will e-mail you with a shipping quote if your order qualifies for FedEx shipping.
In Case of Non-Delivery/Wrong Delivery
You must notify us in writing within 30 days of your shipment date if your order has not arrived in order for us to file a claim with USPS.
Duties and Taxes for International Customers
All International packages are shipped through USPS and FedEx with custom forms filled out. If you live outside of the United States, you are responsible for all import duties and taxes on your order. These charges vary by country and are not something that we can calculate for you. The best way to determine what these charges are likely to be is to contact your local Customs Office, which you should be able to find listed under Government Agencies in your local telephone directory.
The Declared Value entered on your Customs form has to be the actual purchase price of the products you've ordered to comply with the law. We cannot enter a lower value as this would be a violation of American law, and the law of most other countries. We would also risk losing our business license and our right to export to other countries by declaring a false value so please don't ask this of us. Likewise, we cannot declare merchandise as a "Gift" on the Customs form as this, too, is illegal. Finally, for insurance costs, we can't insure a shipment for more than its declared value. So if the product ordered was lost or damaged in transit you would end up having to pay to replace the product which, in most cases, would cost you a lot more than you would save.
Please note that when ordering specially-priced book/downloadable MP3 bundles such as the Professional Orchestration packages, we declare only the replacement cost of the books. You will not be charged duties and taxes on the downloadable items in these orders.
Digital Downloads
Digital downloads are treated as software. Once the download is issued, no returns are possible. There is no shipping charge for downloading items. Download links are manually sent to your e-mail address within 1 business day.
EastWest/SONiVOX Shipping and Returns
Both EastWest and SONiVOX ship Alexander Publishing orders direct from their facilities via FedEx to all US destinations. The only exception is an EastWest order shipping to a California address which must ship from us in Virginia to you.
California orders ship via FedEx 2-Day Air.
Once ordered, by dealer terms defined by EW and SI, we cannot accept returns except for defective disks. A flat FedEx fee is calculated for your order.
DVD/CD Packages
These items are considered software and once opened cannot be returned or exchanged for any reason.
Books
Books for individuals may be returned within 30 days of original shipment date provided they are in resalable condition. Please write sales@alexanderpublishing for return address and a Return Authorization number. Items must be shipped insured and trackable. No exchanges or refunds can be issued until product has been received.
Music Scores, John Williams Scores and Sheet Music
Because of copyright issues, we cannot accept returns on these items.
ADK Pro Audio Computers
Alexander Publishing is a sales agent for ADK Pro Audio who handles all building and tech support. Our role is to help you define the system you need. Once that's completed, we put you together with ADK directly and the proposed system we spec'ed out with you. At that point, all transactions, including payment, are between you and ADK Pro Audio and not Alexander University, Inc.
Please review the ADK policies before ordering:
